Carola Wellhistic® Lubricant Recipe for Menopausal Women

All

Imagine nurturing your body with nature’s finest ingredients—designed to restore balance, ease discomfort, and honor the changes that come with menopause. This all-natural, luxurious lubricant is formulated to moisturize, soothe irritation, and protect against infections, ensuring comfort and confidence.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (organic, cold-pressed) – A natural moisturizer with antifungal and antibacterial properties, providing long-lasting hydration.
  • 2 drops bergamot essential oil – Supports vaginal health with antimicrobial benefits while uplifting the senses.
  • 1 drop myrrh essential oil – A powerful healer that soothes inflammation and strengthens delicate tissues.
  • 2 drops lavender essential oil – Calms irritation, promotes relaxation, and enhances intimacy.
  • 1 tsp aloe vera gel (optional) – Adds a cooling, hydrating effect for extra comfort.
  • 1-2 drops vitamin E oil (optional) – Boosts moisture and supports skin elasticity.

💡 Important: Use only the highest quality, therapeutic-grade essential oils to ensure purity and safety, especially for sensitive areas. Brands like DoTerra and Young Living are well-known for their stringent testing and commitment to quality. Low-grade essential oils may contain additives or contaminants that can irritate delicate tissues, so always source responsibly.

Instructions

  1. Melt the Coconut Oil – Gently warm the coconut oil in a small, heat-safe bowl using a double boiler or warm water bath.
  2. Incorporate the Essential Oils – Once liquid, stir in the bergamot, myrrh, and lavender oils.
  3. Blend in Optional Add-Ins – If using aloe vera or vitamin E oil, mix well to ensure even consistency.
  4. Cool and Store – Pour the blend into a clean glass jar with a lid and allow it to solidify at room temperature or in the fridge.

How to Use

For Daily Hydration & Comfort:

  • Apply a small amount (pea-sized) to your clean, dry fingertips.
  • Gently rub between your fingers until it melts into a smooth, silky texture.
  • Massage externally around the vaginal opening, labia, and any dry areas.
  • If using before bed, apply a thin layer for overnight hydration and tissue support.

For Intimacy & Lubrication:

  • Warm a dime-sized amount between your fingers before intimacy.
  • Apply externally to the vaginal area and gently massage for comfort.
  • For deeper hydration, apply a small amount using clean fingers or a sanitized applicator just inside the vaginal opening.
  • Safe for use with non-latex materials (Avoid latex condoms, as coconut oil can break them down).

For Soothing Irritation & Preventing Dryness:

  • Use daily or as needed, especially if experiencing dryness, discomfort, or irritation.
  • For post-intercourse relief, apply a small amount to soothe and rehydrate the area.
  • To prevent UTIs and infections, apply after showering or before bed for protective moisture.

Why This Formula Works

Coconut Oil – Deeply moisturizes, reduces friction, and offers natural antifungal protection.

Bergamot Oil – Antimicrobial and uplifting, helping to prevent urinary and fungal infections.

Myrrh Oil – Soothes and repairs inflamed or dry tissues, supporting overall vaginal health.

Lavender Oil – Eases discomfort, calms sensitivity, and promotes relaxation.

Storage & Shelf Life

🫙 Store in a cool, dry place to prevent melting.
📆 Use within 3 months for optimal freshness.

Precautions

Patch Test First – Apply a small amount on your inner arm before using it in sensitive areas.
Essential Oil Safety – Always dilute properly and avoid direct contact with undiluted essential oils.
For Those Prone to Yeast Infections – Substitute coconut oil with jojoba oil or sweet almond oil if necessary.
Avoid Latex Condoms – Coconut oil may degrade latex; use non-latex alternatives.

Carola Wellhistic® Approach to Menopausal Wellness

Menopause is not an ending—it’s a transformation. Your body deserves products that are safe, nourishing, and designed to support this new chapter. This lubricant blends holistic healing, science-backed ingredients, and the power of nature to restore balance and comfort in the most natural way possible.

Important Disclaimer

Coconut oil can degrade latex condoms, making them less effective. If using condoms, opt for jojoba oil-based lubricants, which are safe for use with latex.

Benefits & Considerations:

✅ Coconut Oil: Highly moisturizing, antimicrobial, and provides long-lasting glide but not latex-safe.
✅ Jojoba Oil: Closest to natural body moisture, non-comedogenic, fast-absorbing, and safe for latex protection.

Always perform a patch test before use to ensure no allergic reaction or irritation.
